I want Nolan's Odyssey in miniatures
I finally saw The Odyssey today, at my small local cinema. Probably not the way Nolan intended his film to be seen, and some scenes were slightly dampened by the chatterbox sat next to me. There seems to be a higher proportion of people that think it is cool to talk through a film at this cinema than normal...
It feels like everyone has given their thoughts about this film, both positive and negative, and I definitely have thoughts of my own, although that's not the point of this post. I just want to put it out there that I want miniatures made based on the aesthetics of this film. Fine, it isn't 'historically' accurate for the Bronze Age, but damn it looks cool. The Trojans vs the Greeks, Darth Vader Agamemnon, the Cyclops, the Laestrygonian, Circe and her animals, I want it all in miniature. Running Odysseus' journey as a campaign would be a ton of fun.
