Avoiding the Trap Of Blogging About Blogging
In these first few days of blogging, I have spent a lot of time looking up how to customise my blogging space. Markdown and CSS are really rather new to me; when I started my journey on the internet, it had already started to congregate around social media platforms. I even missed the days of Myspace and Bebo!
With that, I have wanted to make posts about what I have found, the changes I have made. But I don’t want that to be the focus, or to take away from other posts. There are already so many good posts and blogs out there about how to get the most out of Bear Blog, and I don’t feel I would be able to meaningfully contribute to that, definitely not yet.
When starting this blog, my intent was to focus only on my hobbies, which are mainly various forms of tabletop games. I have quickly realised it could be more than that, and that I want it to be more than that.
This is somewhere I can air my thoughts, brainstorm into the void.
But I don’t want it to be too much about the act of blogging itself. Maybe sometimes, like now, but not often.
So I have made a page . Under construction will be a space for me to cover any updates I make to the blog itself. This is definitely not a new idea, and I felt inspired to do this after stumbling upon this fantastic change log. I’ll include thoughts where pertinent, as well as links to the resources I have used. Hopefully it will be of use to anyone else starting out.
